The reputation is not for all UDF stores, just that particular location.

Default some other unusual businesses with unique merchandise

Biermarkt, 420 Three Rivers Pkwy., North Bend, sells specialty and craft beers and has beer tasting events. It's also a restaurant. https://biermarktusa.com/hours-locations/

Default oddities

No, we don't know why:
Walt Sweeney Ford at Glenway and Boudinot avenues has a giant inflatable blue gorilla on its roof.
The huge cell phone tower off of Jordan Road in Miami Heights has a bunch of evergreen trees growing on its top.
Green Township Library in Bridgetown looks like a domed home on Tatooine, only in green.
There is a metal sculpture park with oversize humans and animals on Three Rivers Parkway between North Bend and Addyston.
There is an old locomotive rusting to the train tracks on the rail line parallel to Three Rivers Parkway just past Shady Lane Road in North Bend.
Wayne's Pavilion on Miamiview Road outside of Cleves has what I believe is the world's tallest swingset. The stand looks like it is 30 feet tall and the chains must be 25 feet long. I've never seen anybody attempt to swing on them, on the other hand.
There is a windmill house on Foley Road in Delhi.
If you drive around the long windy hilly numbered highways and back roads of Green, Miami and Whitewater townships, you will see not only the old farmhouses and contemporary McMansions but an odd and surprisingly large assortment of California mod houses, with the shed roofs, streamlined pillars and large windows.

Default I thought of some more

Gable Electric Co., 2034 Harrison Ave., Westwood. Lamps and electrical fixtures old and new. https://gableelectric.blogspot.com/p/inventory.html
Christine's Restaurant, 3360 Westbourne Drive, Bridgetown. American and Filipino food. The most popular restaurant on the west side, now located in the old Perkins Restaurant building. https://www.christinescasualdining.com/
Snow's Lakeside Tavern, 4344 Dry Ridge Road, Colerain. My mom's favorite place! She likes to sit outside by the pond when it is warm. http://snowslakesidetavern.com/assets/Snow_Menu_3.pdf
Robin James Jewelers, 6593 Glenway Ave. My favorite jewelry shop, and it usually has a storewide half off sale once a year.

Default and again

Rohe Pharmacy, 4047 Harrison Ave., Cheviot, is famous for carrying older Hallmark ornaments if you collect those. Back to about 2005 or so.

Here are the farmers' markets:
Cheviot: https://lewfm.org/
Lawrenceburg: https://www.facebook.com/lawrenceburgfarmersmarket/
Sayler Park: https://www.saylerpark.org/sayler-park-farmers-market/. Also, the FreeStore/FoodBank sends out a truck every Tuesday afternoon with fruits and vegetables for sale. The truck parks across from the hardware store. Sayler Park is considered a food desert.

Can anyone add vinyl and record stores? I used to go to Everybody’s Records in Pleasant Ridge a lot as well as a lot of places in Clifton. I’m not sure what else is open these days.

We arrive to Cincinnati in two weeks and are so excited.

Default black plastic

I mentioned this in a previous post, but I think it got buried with everything else.
Black Plastic Records, 6470 Glenway Ave., Bridgetown. Sells contemporary LPs. (I am so glad that record albums have returned!). https://www.facebook.com/blackplasticrecords/

We buy some fruit and vegetables every few weeks at the FreeStore/Foodbank truck that comes to Sayler Park every Tuesday afternoon. It's at the corner of Monitor Avenue and Gracely Drive.

The movie theaters I go to are:

Cinemark in Dent. Although other Cinemarks are open daily, this one is open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
https://www.cinemark.com/theatres/oh...stern-hills-14

Greendale Cinema in Greendale. This is an individual complex owned by the Perfects of Perfect's North Slopes in Lawrenceburg. It shows not just popular movies but also some more artsy oddball films.
Greendale Cinema

Parkland Theatre in Sayler Park. This is a single screen theater owned by Ed Miller. Not only does he show family and superhero movies, he also occasionally shows saint and religious-themed movies, and some of those are free.
Parkland Theatre - Cincinnati Ohio, Movies, Live Entertainment, family events, birthdays

If you're looking for a collectible/junk store, try Auctions by Maggie. Maggie Beckmeyer died a number of years ago, and the proprietors now go to estate sales and buy up "stuff." The address is 3350 Harrison Ave. in Cheviot, but I can't find a website for it.

Mom likes the Green Township walking trail between Hutchinson Road and Oakdale Elementary. It runs on what used to be railroad tracks, and there is at least one old mile marker along it.
