Default Indian Family moving to Cincy

Read threads about moving to Cincy and one from Houston to Cincy, mine has a Indian twist to it....

We are moving there in June and we have a 4 year old daughter. We are thinking of renting a apartment/townhouse, after reading so many views I am not sure what area would be best suited for us, as next year we will have to get our daughter in elementary school. We are from India and spent one year in Houston. I have lived in Lousiville and Hartford as single.

I will be traveling to downtown (PnG) for work so won't mind a travel of 20 mins plus.

What areas should I be looking at and what rents should I expect for 2B2B modern apartment in a good school disctrict. I am currently paying $920 for same with a attached garage in Houston in a decent Northwestern suburb

Preference diverse community, childrens parks, green areas, good school district and modern apartments/townhomes.

If you know of any Indian communities/ in vicinity will be added advantage.

gaslight clifton has the only large indian community within 20 minutes of downtown. I really recommend it. There is a bilingual K-8 school in the neighborhood, five indian restaurants within a mile and an indian grocery. I routinely hear Hindi walking down the street.

I second jlrosen, Gaslight clifton is where you want to look. Beautiful neighborhood with a diverse, liberal population.

I would have to suggest Sycamore Schools, they have a large Indian population, consistently rated top 3 districts. check out the links below. Also you could definitely find a 2B2B apt in the district. Your commute downtown would be 25-30 minutes though during rush hour.

Clifton has an Indian population and supermarket/restaurants, but the Indians in Clifton are mainly students at the University of Cincinnati.
The Indians with jobs and kids tend to live in Mason and West Chester, and maybe also areas within Sycamore school district, as the above poster said, though I do not know. Mason or West Chester probably mean a commute of 30 minutes or more.
The bilingual school in Clifton has a German focus. I don't know if that's good or bad, just saying.

There are several Apartment/Townhouse complexes in the Sycamore School District that have many Indian families. That would be your best bet.
