Default Pendleton, Prospect Hill

I'm back with some more questions. I'm wondering about opinons of Pendleton and Prospect Hill. I've heard they are close to Over the Rhine, which I've heard is not the best area to live. Can anyone tell me a little more about these areas? There are a few houses for sale in these areas that are beautiful. Any thoughts? I'm looking for a pretty safe, trendy and fun area to live with my fiance and our pug. We're in our 20's and we're struggling to decide if we want to live in the city or the burbs?!? Any input would be great, thanks!

Your pug will protect you.

I've got friends in both areas; they've not had any problems. I feel more comfortable walking around in Prospect Hill than in Pendleton, but that's just me.

Since you're so undecided, maybe you could rent for a year and get to know the city before you buy a house?
