I am looking to buy a house on Brampton. Is this a decent area? I have a child so I am concerned about schools as well.
Any information would be helpful! Thanks

I'm not familiar with that particular street, but my answer to your question is "no."
A Mt Healthy merchant was shot to death during the robbery of his store two weeks ago. The local spinmeisters went right to work asserting what an anomaly that was, but - sad to say - no one can deny that crime is on the upswing in that vicinity.
The school system is rated fair to poor.
Don't do it.

There was also a shooting at Duvall Elementary in Mt. Healthy between some teenagers not too long ago. I don't think the city of Mt. Healthy is as bad as some of the parts of Springfield Twp. in the Mt. Healthy School District that surround it, but unless you're on one of the few solid streets (where you can get good value for a house) I wouldn't recommend living there.

Brampton Dr. is in Colerain but is within the Mt. H school district. It's basically Northbrook...which is a place you should avoid.

You're exactly right. Most of the city of Mt. Healthy is nice. It is the surounding Twp's that commit the most crimes and have ruined the schools.
