Forrest Fair (or whatever it is called today) is not the place to visit. Biggs just closed. Rumors are that Bass Pr is moving to West Chester. That leaves Kohls and a few run of the mill shops.

My guess is that the mall will be down tonothing an a year or so.

I don't mind shopping at Tri-County. (I hate Northgate and Kenwood is impossible to find parking)

I still call it Forest Fair mall...my son corrects me and called it Cincinnati Mills. From my understanding Bass Pro has been wanting to leave due to management maintenance issues. I was in there one time and it was SOO hot the clerk said they can never get anyone to fix anything. You know, that is so sad because that really is a good location because of 275..so many people from other area can easily get to it...who wants to go all the way up to already crowded west chester to shop? Not me..I grew up and graduated from Lakota and it is too overgrown for me to deal with. Hopefully BP will find another location in Cincy or Greater Cincy.

I'd love to see BP go south to Northern KY. WC is too far and too crowded.

Forest Fair/Cincinnati Mills was an excellent concept. Unfortunately, due to bad management, it was a concept that did not flourish.

I live within 15 minutes of Northgate, Kenwood, Cincinnati Mills and Tri-County, and Tri-County gets my nod anyday of the week.

You must be somewhere close like me to Cross County...makes it great to get anywhere in the Greater Cincinnati area in less than 15 huh?

Okay...went to Kenwood to get my son his birthday present..worst experience of my week. Rude people who shop there dont know how to use the words excuse me, or I'm sorry (after they bang into YOU for not getting out of THEIR way). I am not talking mall walkers either. Rude women chatting on their cell phones, kids running wildly or screaming while being ignored by their shopping parents. OH! The only NICE people were the people who worked in the stores. When I expressed my frustrations to one of them, she said she came there from a Tri County store and it took her a while to get used to the people at Kenwood. She said the customers treat people like employees of the mall rudely. Such a shame. Its a beautiful Mall but I wont take myself back there for a LONG time...I'm too nice to people to shop there.

Excellent Concept? what exactly was the concept other than just putting a big mall in a not incredibly affluent part of town way too close to other malls?

I am amazed it has lasted this long.

Exactly, jlrosen...it was a horrid concept all along. Putting another mall in NW Cincy, when Northgate is only a few miles west, and Tri-County a few to the east. Just plain terrible to begin with.
