Wild Bull Curry. Flying Fred Curry. Chief White Owl. Bobo Brazil. Even a masked "heel" called The Big O. Ladies in one-piece bathing suits clawing at one another's beehives. All broadcast from Cincinnati Gardens, and must-see TV on Saturday afternoons. (Except when it was banned as punishment for practicing headlocks and dropkicks on sibling victims.)
Hey, don't forget about Gorgeous George and the Sheik!

Roller games!!! You always had time, when the men's teams took the track, to run grab another lil pale-green bottle o' Coke and another "snack size" bag or two o' Husman's. No one watched roller games to see the guys!

I remember watching Killer Gene Kininski from floor seats at the Gardens in the late 50's.

The Killer stormed out of the ring and into the aisle with "blood" dripping from his forehead.

I cowered behind my dad and, thankfully, was spared.

Shat about when the Sheik had flames coming out of his hands or when he bit off his opponent's ear (which grew back by the next time you saw him fight)

OMG! You're so good! Were you peaking in our window when my brother and I used to wrestle and get punished?

Add "The Sheik" to that list. He wore long flowing Arabian clothes. Yeah, we all watched that on Saturday afternoons. Those were great times!
