Default Relocating - where should we go???

My husband is being relocated to Covington, KY and we're in the process of finding a new home for our family. We have two small children who are beginning elementary school so we are looking for towns that are family friendly (good schools, safe, recreational activities, etc.). We hope to find a nice home (4 beds, about 2,000SF) in the $250,000 range. What are some towns to look into? I've heard because of Covington's close proximity to Ohio you can live in either state, but would want to keep the commute to less than 30 minutes. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

There are alot of nice areas in Northern Kentucky. Villa Hills, Ft Mitchell, Covington etc... If 250k is your range , search realtor.com and then greatschools.net (or .com) you will get a good picture based on the quality of the schools. I wouldn't live in Ohio and work in Ky..then your income would be taxed in KY and Ohio...
