I am relocating due to a job in downtown Cincinnati and am looking for some advice on where to live. I grew up in the city, but have never had to deal with going downtown during rush hour. I will be going to work downtown to around 3rd and Broadway.

How long of a commute (8am,5:30pm) is it from around the following areas:

1)Harper's Point
2)Plainfield and Ronald Reagan Hwy
3)Rt 4 just north of Wyoming

My fiance currently has a job in Fairfield, OH but her work hours will prevent her from hitting any real traffic (10am-7pm) so we are looking for a place that will have a similar commute for the both of us. Any advice on commute times would be greatly appreaciated! Thanks in advance!

Default Commute Times

There are many communites that would work between both of your jobs. Price range and lifestyle will factor in. Wyoming would be a great community.

Thanks for the responses! What do you mean by 3x and 4? Sorry I am a newb. I am looking for a 2br apt under $1000/mo within a reasonable commute to both our jobs.

I can usually get downtown from the Harper's Point area in less than a half hour during the morning rush hour. (Go south on Montgomery Road, east on I-275, then south on I-71.) The commute time home varies widely depending on congestion, accidents, and weather.

Probably a half hour to 45 minutes would be a safe estimate. The earlier you can leave, both in the morning and afternoon, the better.
