Default Need help with neighborhoods in Cinci

Hi everyone.

Can someone please tell me the best suburbs/neighborhoods around Cinci that are a convenient drive to the Reds baseball stadium?

I'm not familiar with Cinci but we're now headed there with little warning and I need to start looking for a new house and just want to get a general grasp of the different areas I should look at or focus on.

Thank you.

Your top priority is being close to Great American Ballpark, home of the sputtering Big Red Machine? God love ya!

Can't get any closer than a loft or other apartment right downtown, or directly across the bridge in Covington or Newport. Close behind in proximity would be Mt Adams and the gentrifying East End.

Do you seriously have no concern about price, school quality, what the houses or apartment/condo buildings look like, neighborhood hipness, any of that? Again I say, God love ya.

I second goyguy's advice: Newport or Covington are most convenient, and have some great neighborhoods with restaurants, live music and places to go. There are some cute houses, too. As far as commutes go, unless you live downtown, you'd be hard pressed to find more convenient.

Given your criteria, I'd def. go with Newport . . . Mt. Adams would probably be a very distant second for me . . . .

Default Cincy Neighborhoods

Will you be working for the Reds? Both Ohio and Kentucky offer communties close to the stadium. Price range and lifestyle would play a part in which ones appeal more or less to you.
