Just finished watching the Reds take game 2 from the Giants in San Fran. This is a gutsy team after overcoming last night's starter (Cueto) leaving with back spasms after 1/3 of an inning. Behind a veteran finesse pitcher in Arroyo the Redlegs put togther 7-innings of shut out ball only giving up two hits all game between Arroyo and the bullpen (one hit each) on there way to a 9-zip win.

The Reds are sitting in the driver's seat and head back home for the remaining three games where they only need to win one to advance to the NLCS game. Let's just hope it's not the Cardinals waiting for them there. As much as St Louis may be the more favorable matchup I'm sick of the Redbirds. With the weird new home-away positioning I think the Reds would do well to play the first two of the NLCS in GABP.

Go Reds!

I would like the Cardinals. We will have home field advantage. If it's Washington, the Reds won't.

We had a chance for a great sports weekend in Cincinnati but the Bengals had to blow it.

The Reds more than made up for it by taking two in San Francisco and coming home up 2-0.

Not only took two but took the second game 9-0. After watching last nights game I don't really remember who the Bengals are at this point.
