As usual, they will start strong and then fade into oblivion.

Not due to the play of anyone not named Phillips, Votto, or Roland. Sadly, I have a feeling that will be a familiar phrase this year, that while it may result in the first winning season in a long time, won't result in a playoff appearance.

Seems like same-old, same-old doesn't it. But honestly I do not care anymore. I like the fact Cincy has major league sports, but at the same time I no longer have any regard for major league sports. Once the salaries, proportional cost of attending a game, etc. inflated it beyond what a family should reasonably expect, I decided to abdicate.

Yes, I will watch a game occasionally on TV, but not be overly concerned who wins. I can still appreciate a good athletic move, play, etc. But the fact is they are few and far between. The number of bungles, inept, these are professionals? are far too prevelant.

I keep reading Obamacare is raping the US citizen. But professional sports have been doing this for years, and we (not I) keep going back?

If the Redlegs win today they'll be 2 games out of first place max with the a big series against the Cards coming up. The Reds are playing some mighty fine ball right now. Go Reds!

Homer Bailey pitched a complete game shutout?

Next thing you know, the Browns will win the Super Bowl!
