Thumbs down Another Disaster

Once again another horrible Bengals season comes to an end as if anyone cares.

Years ago there was a commercial that said "I don't care about making money, I just love to sell carpet"

Mike Brown has changed that to "I don't care about winning football games, I just love to make money"

Let's be positive here. XU just clinched their 5th straight regular season A10 Title. The Reds were in the playoffs last season. Spring training is going on. We fired Bratkowski. There is hope in this town....please...let there be hope....

I'm really hoping to see UC football come back stronger next season now that our coach has one season under his belt and we'll be getting new recruits.

Brian Kelly's a douche. I hope UC does good this year. Basketball has been a dissapointment, at least I can watch Xavier.

I'm really starting to believe more and more Ohio sports teams are just cursed.

As long as that knuckleheaded family still runs the Bengals it will never be a winning team, they get in their own way.

Mike Brown believes it only takes a star quarterback to have a winning team. God help him.

Maybe Ohio is just cursed like how so many serial killers have come from Ohio or have associations with Ohio.

Sorry I routed from afar for the Bengals too many years, I think it's time to let it go.

Bellyaching about the Reds or the Bengals does nothing. For so long professional sports have been taking advantage of their fans. Look at the latest with the NFL. Now the whole emphasis is on what the new season will bring, when a couple of weeks ago it was whether there would be a season. The NFL, MLB, NBA, etc. all have one thing in common, they rely on the fact their fans are idiots.

Even professional golf is in the mold. Without the legions of volunteers, whom I am sure delude themselves they are contributing to a charity, the PGA could not conduct a single tournament.
If they had to pay their own way - noway!

Our so called sports fans need to wake up and realize they are being had. Do I think this will happen - NO! We all like sports, want to cheer on the local team, root for the underdog, etc. That is part of the American psychic.

The bellyaching sports fan is just lumped in there with the average US voter. Totally oblivious to reality and just wanting to blame the owners. Don't blame the owners, blame the people who gave them a license to steal in the first place. That means blame yourself.
