So ... I'm watching the Reds vs. the Phillies. Go Reds. They haven't been on national TV for awhile, so the next couple nights will be a treat (I hope).

Where is everyone? That's a lot of empty seats. I know it's Monday, but ...

And who let all those obnoxious Phillies fans in there? (apologies to the Phillie fan reclining on my sofa) Although the homers on the Phillies network probably are showing the same four people over and over again, just to make the local crowd think the place is packed with Phillies fans.

Is it just me or would anyone else like to see a UK-UC rivalry or UK-Xavier rivalry develop? The two are so close and all 3 of those programs have pretty high standing in the world of college basketball.

Nice win for the Bengals. So much for all the 0-16 trolls. You can't go 0-16 if you start out 1-0.

But you can still go 1-15 even if you start out 1-0. Before we get excited let's see what the next few weeks bring. And remember, we hae been here before.

Correct. As recently as 2009 the Bengals finished 10-6 and won the division. They started that season 0-1 however, on a fluke last-second play at home vs. the Broncos. Maybe some payback is in order on Sunday.

You can't go 0-16 when you start out 2-2.

Just sayin'

Oh, and Ochocinco, that's how you beat the Buffalo Bills.

You can't go 0-16 when you start out 3-2.

Yes, it is refreshing, especially coming from behind two weeks in a row. Been a long time since we've seen that.

Bengals... The prima donnas are gone and it shows. 4-2 great start. Keep it going. Rookies are supposed to cost you games somewhere along the line by foolish mistakes, hope that doesn't happen. But right now it is just refreshing to see people out there playing with some enthusiasm and fire. I guess many of these guys are too young and close to college to realize it is just a business.

Detroit lost today - I still think the 49ers receiver's right knee was down before the ball reached the goal line, but they are 5-1. Another example of a team playing over their heads, but fun to watch.
