Typical of people to want the right to keep their land while not being a responsible neighbor to others who had to suffer on his account. I'm not making a judgement either way about eminent domain but I do feel like this guy was just throwing salt in the wound in a childish manner.
Was he any more selfish than the big corporation and government that wanted to shove him off his property so that they could build something else on it?

I disagree. It was the developers who were selfish and tried to force these homeowners out against their will (that's when 3 of them took it to the Ohio Supreme Court and won). Horney, the last hold out, got $1.25 million for his house. Go Horney!

Cincinnati's new Riverfront park underconstruction. Phase one will start in a few days, it will go right along with phase one of the Banks.

Check it out:

What an absolutely boring video that gave us no information at all. Is there some particular reason why it was 75% people talking about basically nothing? All they did was rattle on about "what a wonderful place this will be", blah blah blah. The other 25% was a slideshow that showed a smattering of 2-second clips that were dark, grainy and done up in the old-time film style and hokey 1800's guitar music.

And no, this isn't me bashing the city.

P.S. It's also nothing personal against you, Traveler87.

^ did you write the author of the video or make an effort to contact the videographer of the video? The reason I'm asking this is because I'm not sure how criticizing the video on city-data will accomplish anything?

Since the link to the video was posted here at City-Data, I consider it fair game to comment about it, and that's what I'm doing. Do you have a problem with that?

No problem at all, but you failed to answer my question ... what did you hope to accomplish by critiquing the video on CD?
