Sorry, I wasn't trying to be funny.

I really believe that winters are the worst thing about living here. I guess I'm a wimp, but I really don't like winter because it wreaks havoc on my body. It's cold, dreary, and gray for months which is not my cup of tea.

Yeah, the 60s is stretching it a bit, inasmuch as it's rare - but you have to admit we've had more than a couple of Winters in the past decade in which we've seen a string of days with temps in the 50s, and even 60s. Of course, in that same time period we've also seen 3 snowfalls of 12"-20" each. So it all averages out. The main thing to remember is that Cincinnati winters are NOT the end of the world that so many people across the country make them out to be. It's actually more mild around here in the Winter than a lot of people think.
Yes, as average would be the best gauge to come up with an average temp.

Winters in Cincy are "dreadful" to someone from Mississippi. To Cleveland not so much. To someone from from Fargo, Cleveland is Miami during the winter. It all depends on who you ask and where they're from.

Exactly. Much as Sunnydee thinks it's dreary and gray, I would counter that by saying it can also be sunny and "mild" as far as winters go. I can't stand Cincinnati's humidity, so the cold and snow is a welcome respite for me.

I think it depends on the cycles too. Winters are not as bad as they used to be back in the day. That may change, who knows. But cincy winter weather can be brutal given the cycle we're in. Luckily, it has not been very bad the past decade or so. And yeah, Cleveland would probably be Miami to someone from Fargo. LOL. Generally, The low clouds and depressing blah's do rule here in winter if you let it get to you.
