I used to live in Delhi 20 years ago, and Covedale at that time was fine....typical western Cincinnati neighborhood. It was decently safe back then, but I have no idea what has transpired over the years. Covedale was sorta like a Delhi/Price Hill mix...mostly older homes built in the 30s, 40s and 50s...and just an overall middle class, blue collar place where you'd generally find middle-aged folks who typified the conservative image of the west side. Imagine old Mrs. Feederbacher walking her poodle along the sidewalk and stopping to talk to Hilda as she watered her flower beds, and little Tommy rode his skateboard past her. That sort of image is what always stuck in my mind about Covedale. Lots of cape cods lining the streets with single car garages under the house.

What part of Covedale
It really depends on the area of Covedale.... St. Antoninus Parish is great will be so for some time. St. Teresa Parish is a different story.
Also -- be aware that much of Covedale is in the Cincinnati Public School system.

What the The Don is trying to say is the that the AA pop. is much higher in the St. Teresa Parish area then St. Antonious area. There are some nice streets in the St T part of Covedale including the churches street Overlook. There are also a couple of block clubs in that area if your civic minded.

Most of Covedale is still middle class, hard working people. There are some parts that are going downhill, but the vast majority is still nice. A drawback might be that it's in CPS, even the parts of Covedale that are located in Green Twp.

I agree...There are some beautiful houses but just be careful of where exactly you live...I grew up in St. Antoninus' parish...and it is a really nice school district... Although, not too much of Covedale is in that parish...if any...Maybe Colonial Drive and back there...but I am not sure if that is even covedale...

Colonial Drive isn't in the Cincinnati city limits, near as I can tell. So that would place it in the Oak Hills school district.
