Not at all, look everyone in every major metropolitian area of the U.S. has an opinion towards city v. suburb, closer in v. farther out and the general Ohio v. KY thing is very common too, NY/NJ...NoVa/DC/Md etc.

Different strokes for different folks but I did learn more about the city in this thread than I previously knew, enjoyed the photos as well.

Lived in Florence (Oakbrook) for 3 years... I really enjoyed the area. Although it was a bit far to the downtown stadiums etc. It was close enough to make the trip whenever we wanted...From what I heard it had good schools, we paid lower taxes than other places I've lived, and some nice planned developments..

We live in Maui at the moment, and of course it's beautiful here, but I'll definitely miss the feel of a normal city. (Hawaii, especially Maui, is not normal living. But it is awefull relaxing!)

we may be crazy and actually move back to Cincy when we've soaked up all the island life we can.. (and my former job decides to recall me)
