Default Cincinnati Relocation looking for 20's scene

More 20's than 30's.

Quick Bio:
Single male, coming from Chicago area, athletic, I've pretty much played all the major ones at some point, I play guitar in a gigging band currently. I guess I would be looking for the best approximation of Lincoln Park or Wrigleyville from Chicago. I'd have a sales job covering roughly a 250 mile radius around Cincy, so being close to the office isn't an issue. Looking to rent at first, likely go with roommates if I can find a good fit. I have a place to crash already, so I have time to look around & find a good fit. Basically looking to be highly social, so it doesn't end up being all work & no play. Likely pursue some sports leagues, the band thing too, but that can take awhile to develop & rehearsing in a basement isn't neccesarily that social.

I've been to all of these neighborhoods likely to be mentioned, I'm not sure who really lives there. Mt. Adams, cool place, but really that young or will you find lots of middle aged married couples. Hyde Park?

Maybe close to a University? UC, is it a little dumpy off campus? Xavier, really anything worth while there?

Recommendations on location? Thing's to do? Co-ed sports leagues?

Thanks

I'm in my 40s, so I will probably be of little help. But offhand, I'd say your best bet would be Clifton. Mt. Adams is a mix of age groups, but very active. Hyde Park is a good option. Ideally, you'd be looking for something like the High Street area around Ohio State University. BUTTTTT.....that's in Columbus. I can't really say that there is a particular place around Cincinnati with quite the magnitude and activity as Lincoln Park. Cincinnati is simply too small for there to be such a large contiguous area like that.

I'm sure someone will come along who can better give you an idea about where to look.

Downtown or OTR. Hyde Park, Oakley, Mt. Lookout, and Clifton are all good choices

I would add both Oakley and Mt. Lookout to your searches. Also, Northern Kentucky areas such as Covington and Newport may work for you.

Yes, I second jlrosen's choices. If you want to meet people, then the CSL would be perfect for you.
