Hi!
I am a 25 year old, single female. I am also a pediatric respiratory therapist. Im currently living in Indianapolis. I love Indy, but Im very unhappy with my current job. I have an offer to work at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. It should be a no brainer since the hospital is so amazing!
My question is how is the nightlife? I dont want to move to a new town just because of an awesome job, then be unhappy on my days off work. I still enjoy getting together at pubs and cocktail bars.....then there is the occasional dance club on a crazy alcohol filled night (just being honest). Id love to be close to these scenes. I am also looking for somewhere safe and an area that is dog friendly. I have a small 15lbs dog who loves the outdoors. Id like to live within 20 minutes to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. Oh, one last thing, I love to shop. How is shopping in Cincinnati?

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!!!

I'd say clifton because it is centrally located and safe (the gaslight part is) and I wouldn't worry about being far away from anything because you can get across the city in 30 minutes to 45 minutes if you know where your going. It's a really accessible city and the people are friendly, I haven't been to Indy much so I can't do a very good comparison but I'm sure some more friendly Cincinnatians like myself will jump on any minute to help you out.

Cincinnati is exploding with growth. It is building its new tallest skyscraper, a new central riverfront between the two stadiums is underway. Fountain Square was just finished.

Cincinnati offers a lot. And the park system is awesome for you and your dog. Go to Mount Adams, awesome views of the city. Shopping, well do not do much of that when I am in the city. I do know they built an Ikea lol. It is the only one between Cincinnati and Chicago, including Kentucky.

Default Cincinnati Move

I agree with many of the other posts that Clifton, Hyde Park, Oakley and downtown Cincinnati may work. In addition, the Northern Kentucky communities of Covington, Newport and Bellevue would appeal to you.

Shopping we have Saks, Tiffanys, Ikea. You would probably like the Kenwood Mall and Kenwood Shopping area.
