We have two cats and it's time to get check-ups, shots and even ridiculous sounding stuff like teeth cleaning done. Can anyone recommend a good vet located semi-close to where Oakley, Norwood and Hyde Park connect? We originally visited a place in Mt. Lookout and had a less than...um, good experience there so if anyone has suggestions we (and the cats) would appreciate it big time!!

Ok... I know this was a stupid question and you might despise my posts here but if anyone can give us a clue it would be great. Seriously, we are just trying to find a good place to take our cats. I promise not to bump this again but any assistance would be helpful.

Well, I'm not trying to ignore this. I did read it, but I simply don't know of any place near where you live. If you want to make the trip out here to West Chester, I would say the Lakota Hills Animal Clinic, on Tylersville Road. Excellent facility, but I know it's not close to where you live.

Default Vet Recommendations

I use Erlanger Vet Hospital in N. Kentucky for my cats and they are extremely compassionate in addition to their quality of care.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Pleasant Ridge Pet Hospital on Montgomery road.

HuskerDu, for what it's worth, I just remembered that my grandmother used to take her dog to this place when she lived in Oakley:

Oakley Square Animal Hospital 513-731-7900 Cincinnati Ohio 45209"

But truth be told, I don't know how good they are. It was just close to her.

My wife is a registered vet tech. I'll ask her and get back with you.

Try the Cat Clinic at 3908 Edwards Rd. They're very professional and friendly. And since they specialize in cats only, they really know their stuff.

I take my cats to Grady on Winton Road in Finneytown. There is a female doctor there who takes wonderful care of our cats. One was a stray who was very sickly when we found him and we had to take him to the vet everyday and he had to stay a couple times overnight for different treatments...my point is...one time I came in to check on him (unannounced) and the doctor and the staff had our cute little kitten out and was holding him like a baby and just loving over him. I knew I would never take my cats anywhere else. If they are that good to my pet when they have no idea I am around then I know they take good care of him. Plus, they have a 24 hour office emerg. area and it helps when all your records for your pet is already there in case something unexpected happens after hours. Sorry for the long post but I really like this office and the staff...plus the talking bird Stella who greets you in the waiting room is a bonus. She'll play pick a boo with you too...LOL...
