Default Hamilton

Anybody have any information regarding Hamilton? A friend of mine and I are looking to buy some duplexes to rent out in the greater Cincinnati area, and was wondering if Hamilton would be a good place. I was raised in Cincinnati but moved about 10 years ago, and can't remember much about Hamilton.

Hi,

My mom grew up in Hamilton and we drove through there in the autumn. There are some wonderful houses that can be had for a song.... however, the economic situation appears most bleak. It's my understanding that the economic basis has pretty much collapsed out of Hamilton. Manufacturing moved on. The univeristy, Middletown and AK Steel are kind of nearby, and Hamilton kind of latches on to that, but to my pedestrian eye, I don't see an upswing in the city's near future.

Hamilton West side would be the best. Alot of poor and illegals on the East side and that area is not kept up. Good Luck
