Media Sales should be pretty good with the behemoth corporate presence here.

Isn't media sales one of those areas that get tight when the economy turns sour?

I have friends that are looking for work and they say it is pretty tight. The best way to get a job is through contacts or maybe a recruiter.

It's GOTTA be a recession now; even the "hire-any-meat-in-the-seat-driver" trucking companies aren't even advertising that much these days...

Job market isnt that bad. Its the same here as it is most places. There are jobs for people that have skills, just like there always is.

Gman-are you looking for a job?

A few years back BEFORE the recession, my husband and I both got laid off and we are eperienced college grads. We took "anything" type jobs but it was rough looking. Highly technical people do well in Cincy. I have friends that are looking (actively and right now). They are saying that the market is tight.

Just check the job websites and that will speak volumes.

Oh, I am gainfully employed and living in the DC region now.

I have some friends/associates that are looking though. I miss Cincy but I don't miss jobsearching in that area.
