That's too bad, 'cause the front of that former convent has some interesting architectural details.
I've been "run off" properties too, while trying to get some shots with a non-threatening digital camera; what is it with some people?

The only thing I can think of is that he thought I was someone interested in tearing it down or something, and I was out doing some kind of preliminary site study. The reason I say this is when he confronted me, he said, "Hey! What are you doing? Are you trying to recreate something?"

I thought that was a very odd, somewhat nonsensical thing to say. Either way, I was standing on the sidewalk, snapping a pic with an iPhone. That's about as non-threatening as it gets.

Ok, it was a philosophical test...I wanted you all to look inward and discover the doors, towers, and lights inside yourselves, becoming one with all that is within and without...breathe deeply, deeply...oooommmmmmm.... 8-)
