Dee Felice Cafe?
Has anyone been to the Dee Felice Cafe in Covington lately? I went there years ago and it was wonderful. I would like to go back and was wondering if it's still a good place--I remember the chef was named Brogan and had a write up in Bon Appetit, perhaps back in 1996? Thanks!

Actually, I haven't been there recently, but Dee Felice used to be one of my favorite places!! I have been there for many meals, and the food was always excellent. I have never had better escargot in the Cincinnati area.
The ambience is the best. I love the jazz bands playing "above" the bar!! I think Dee Felice is the total package, for a great dining experience.
As I've said, I haven't been there recently. I have walked by, and read their menu. It is quite a bit more expensive than I remember. And they don't have a band seven days a week like they used to. But, I'm sure these are signs of the times.
The last time I was there was for a Sunday brunch with family, and it was very good.
I don't remember the chef.

Thanks for the tip, Firefightermom! We REALLY need to get out and explore SW Ohio more! I get to see a fair amount of it in my truck. But it's usually at "dark-thirty" in the morning and there's usually no truck parking, anyway...
Where is Dee Felice Cafe? I've never noticed it but I've been through Covington several times, coming in on US 41 and taking US 36 West headed to Muncie, IN. (I may have driven right by and not even noticed... )

Hey CC!! It's on Main Street in downtown Covington, and here is the website. DeeFelice.com : Our Restaurant : Cajun and Creole gumbo, jambalaya, red beans, sauces, spices, jazz music, dining, restaurant. My dad is from New Orleans, and after growing up with his and my grandma's cooking, I'm very picky when it comes to Cajun and Creole cuisine. Their food and ambiance were both wonderful. I need to take my hubby there sometime; too bad it's over an hour's drive from my parent's house!

We've been there within the past year. Food and music still great on a crowded Saturday night.
Miss Dee...But the band still good!

And I didn't even register the roads you mentioned...lol!! My aunt used to work at Sellman's Furniture in Covington, OH when she lived there back in the day. Wish I could buy my furniture there now! Oh well
