I was thinking of coming in for a trip and there was something near Amberly Village I wanted to do. What is that area like? All the hotels see to be along the freeways around there. Can I walk a mile or two along the main roads--are there sidewalks, or are we talking freeways? Is there any public transportation or is that a joke?

Default Amberly is quiet

Amberley itself is an upscale residential neighborhood. There aren't many sidewalks but the inner streets are quiet. Like many areas outside of DT Cinti, walking is often trekking up hills like Ridge Road with no sidewalk, not enjoyable by my taste. French Park is pretty & pretty hilly, too. Going out to Pleasant Ridge & Montgomery Rd you'll find a busy community street of small stores & eateries. Nothing much happening in this area for a visitor other than walking & "house viewing."

Amberly doesn't seem to be very pedestrian. It is like small estates and such, somewhat rural in feel.
