I wouldn't do Finneytown if you are looking for a diverse neighborhood. I'd try Madison Place (Madisonville/Columbia Township Area that's considered Madison Place). I have lived there and down the block in Mariemont for 6 years. Never had anything stolen, no break ins, no issues really with the neighborhood. They are working on improving the look of the area at the Bramble/Plainville intersection. Easily find a home near 100k. Great walking neighborhood, close to the restaurants, bars, starbucks, theater and Graeters!

Madison Place would be easy to find a home for less than one hundred thousand. It would be a difficult task in Mariemont to find a house for less than one hundred thousand. If schools prove important, Madison Place residents attend Cincinnati Public Schools. You could find a home in Fairfax for less than one hundred thousand and residents there send their children to Mariemont schools.
