Thanks I checked it out. $929 for a 1bed, or a bunk bed for $700+. Yikes. Not thanks. :P

I am not too keen on university housing. Some of the rates that I have been quoted by several of the interns that worked for me have tempted me to purchase houses near the university as rental properties.

Do realize that the rates that you quoted includes utilities, cable, furniture, and wireless internet which you'll likely pay elsewhere. And the location will eliminate your need for parking, and all the time of commuting back and forth.

You can score a small apartment in a good area like Mt. Washington, about a 20-30 drive for $425-475 a month including heat. Do realize that you will need to furnish the apartment.

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid having to furnish the place with everything. I'd much rather live with roomates for the same price of $425-475 somewhere near campus than live alone 20-30 minutes away.

Thanks, though.

No more roommates. Nothing like trying to get a thesis completed and have a roommate go bonkers becuase he forgot to take his medicine ...
