It was a car dealership, no? Which one? I remember going to the VOgue theater near there, alot! Great Saturday matinees! 7 cartoons and a Tarzan movie.

IF my answer to the undying "Mid-Century Reading Road" thread, the separate one about Vine St and Springfield Pike, hadn't dropped off the radar you could've posted there. LOL.
The "Indian" sign is still very much alive in the same place it's always been. But the neon tubes which were set to cause the, uh, Native American's arm to "wave" after dark fried a long time ago. Some committee or commission or whatever had it designated historic so that it won't be removed without a fight. I haven't bothered to commit to memory what the name of the used-car dealer is now, but it was called the Mohawk Motor Co when the sign was put up and for many years thereafter. (Hard-core Cincinnati historians may be able to confirm whether or not the dealer had originally set up shop in the little corner of town around Central Parkway and the foot of Ravine St that's known as Mohawk.)
When I was a "little shaver" - in other words, too young to shave, hahaha - I spent some evenings and Saturdays at the Vogue as well. There's a whole paragraph's worth of recollection by me, as well as contributions from others, somewhere in this forum. This boy went through some changes when it closed. The news had been kept from me, so it was a major shock to an approximately 8- or 9-year-old to see the building getting torn down.
