Anyone know of a good video rental store in the area that actually carries a decent amount of gay-themed movies? I'm not talking about porn. Just some decent quality movies based on gay characters. Blockbuster doesn't seem to have jack diddly in my area, and there are some good movies that have come out recently that I'd like to go grab...for example, Mulligans...and I'm not in the mood for doing the "DVD through mail" thing.

Netflix is the way to go. They will have many, many, more alternative titles, And, if I drop my video in the mail on Monday, I have a new one on Wed. The only reason not to use Netflix is if you want X rated. $9 a month, I can get 6-8 videos.

Yeah, I guess I need to get past my aversion to the DVD-via-mail thing. I've tried it before and there's always been a waiting list, or the DVD was scratched to pieces. I may have to cave in and go that route if I want to see the movies I want.

Thanks for telling me about it. Though I looked on their website and they don't have a couple I'm looking for, it's a viable option.

I lost a dvd one time and Netflix just comp'd it. They said stuff happens. So, I'm sort of loyal to them.

No, I'm a camel.

Yes, people still go to video rental stores. I don't watch enough movies to justify forking out monthly membership fees to Netflixx, but I do want to grab a DVD once in a while. It's just that there happens to be a particular movie I'm wanting to see and Blockbuster doesn't carry it.
