Question Loveland, OH

Hello and Happy Easter to everyone!

Well as some of you know I have asked about the Eastagte area of Cincinnati, OH because I will be running a company from there ut our search has only produced two homes of interest so we have expanded our seach.

We found great new homes in the Loveland area of OH so what can you tell me of this area.

Crime?

Shopping?

Groceries?

Movies?

Restaurant's?

Schools?

Thank you,

Paul

Crime is low.

Alot of little stores in Loveland. For major shopping there is Kenwood Towne Center in Kenwood off I-71. There is Meijers, Sams and many restaurants along Fields Ertle. On Mason-Montgomery there is WalMart and other stores and restaurants.

There is a Kroger store in town of Loveland, also aforementioned Meijers and Sams.

Movies at Kings Island, the Rave in West Chester, at Kenwood Towne Center, and new cinemas behind Gold Gym on Mason Mongomery. Also cinemas in Milford.

Restaurants (any you can imagine) on Fields Ertle, Mason Montgomery and at Kings Island. Loveland also has a few unique restaurants down at the bike trail.

Schools are very good and safe.

Paul, Loveland is a very wise choice.

Default Loveland is a nice slice of suburbia

Hi Patval,

I know you've been fishing for a neighborhood on this site.

Loveland has experienced a huge real estate boom. If you want a new house with a little yard which is architecturally pleasing and looks like everyone else in a 10 mile radius, Loveland is for you. Every store and restaurant imaginable is nearby. Because everyone lives there and shops there, the roads system resembles a plate of spaghetti with intersections, red lights, and confusing traffic patterns at every turn. Crime is negligable and the schools are fine, assuming they can keep up with the population inflow. If you want to sit in the heart of suburbia, Loveland is a fine place for you.

There are also some other areas worth looking at, including Terrace Park and Indian Hill. While more expensive, they are less congested. Both have good schools. I'm inclined to recommend Batavia also, just to balance out the clausterphobic feeling I get form Loveland!

Good luck with it!

The 1st home I purchased 10 years ago was in Loveland and I lived there for 6 years. It's a great family-oriented town with affordable housing. The Fields-Ertel area is retail overload but you can get to the Meijer store (SuperCenter style store) and the Kroger in older part of Loveland without dealing with all the traffic. If you like to dine out you will have more choices than you can imagine!
Another poster just mentioned Indian Hill and Terrace Park--both are beautiful but extremely expensive in direct comparison to Loveland. The Loveland police dept. does seem to do a good job of keeping crime down...the minimal bad element seems to be confined to a few apt. buildings.

Paul, I agree with Cincygirl. Loveland is a wise choice. The school system will help your property values over time...The only reason I left was job-related not due to Loveland itself. When I'm in Cincinnati occasionally I still like to go back to Loveland for a visit

Best of luck to you!
