If anyone out there is looking for a family activity for the rest of the weekend - we went blueberry picking in Dearborn, Indiana today, and it was glorious.

Here is the info if you're interested --

Berry Patch - strawberries, blueberries and blackberries
9569 Yorkridge Road, Guilford, IN 47022. Phone: 812-623-1433. Directions: I -74 to St. Leon exit. South on State Road 1 approximately 3 miles to Dover. West on North Dearborn Road - 3 miles to New Alsase. South on Yorkridge Road. Farm is one half mile on the right. Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am to 4 p.m. U-pick or pre-picked strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. Also offer jams and jellies, pumpkins and gourds in the fall, and other fall produce. May through October.

(Blueberries are what are in season now)

Sorry, I didn't see this until too late, but they still have the parade at noon on the 4th.
