Good restaurants??
I'll be in town this weekend. Where’s a good place to eat at? The cuisine doesn’t really matter. Maybe just somewhere with a good variety or local favorite.

If you've never been, and you want an inexpensive casual meal, go with Skyline

You have to go over the Bridge on I-471 to Newport, KY (other side of the river) but the Chart House (on the river bank with views of the river and city) is one of the BEST restaurants in the area. There is also Montgomery Inn Ribs King on the river on the Ohio side of the river that boasts the best ribs in the world. Skyline is GREAT Cincinnati-style chili.

Agree about the Chart House... not many people know about it, but great fish and the prime rib is very good.

Chart House is great but it is the same as every Chart House.
Go for local, DeeFelice Cafe , The Celestial , The Palace , Boca or Nada , any of Jeff Ruby's places especially Bootsys
That's a start
Then near the airport in Aurora, IN Applewood or Whiskeys

Amble around Newport on the Levee, a big shopping/entertainment complex right across the river from downtown Cincinnati. There's a variety of eating places there, including seafood and Mexican. For a major - and I do mean major - splurge, "everybody's talking about" Orchids in the awesome Netherland Plaza Hotel.
Just off 275 east of the airport, hidden away in an "office park," is an upscale Japanese restaurant called Jo-An which gets a lot of good press. A spot in Northern Kentucky that I enjoy is the Greyhound Tavern, on Dixie Highway (US 25/42/127) south of 275. You won't be in town on Monday, when they showcase their famous fried chicken, but it's an unpretentious place where you can buy a good filling meal any day of the week. The name "hot brown" may sound a little sketchy, lol, but it's a yummy (though artery-busting) dish made with turkey + ham + bacon + cheese sauce. The Greyhound offers several variations of that.
Finally, in Covington there are two trendy and tasty restaurants right next to each other on Greenup St near the Suspension Bridge: Greenup Cafe and Chalk.

P.S. No matter what else you put into your belly, you absolutely have to buy a Graeter's ice cream cone. This is non-negotiable.
