I'm afraid I can't add much more than Hartwell Girl; my wife and I arrived right at 3:00. REALLY enjoyed meeting Goy Guy & Hartwell Girl!!! Had a too-short visit since I had to go home and get some beauty sleep before work. (Somehow, I NEVER seem to get enough to make a difference... ) And the food was really good; we're partial to Chinese, anyway. Sure hope others were able to stop in later.

Ohiogirl...it was fun...I already had met Goyguy at the last meet up...but in addition, I got to meet Crew Chief and his lovely wife. Its always fun to meet the people behind the screen names and opinions. There are a lot of wonderful people on this forum...so I hope we can do it again and get some more people together.
And I agree...the food there is awesome!

Funny thing about Blue Gibbon, their food is "carry-out" caliber BUT...they prepare it so well and you get so much!!! No grease in the fried food, no aftertaste to anything, all fresh ingredients, etc etc. My leftover Cantonese Chicken was awesome on Monday as a nuked lunch.
I got to be a familiar face to all the crew there, and they were great. Of course it helped that they sold eight meals thanks to me, LOL...my "chauffeur" afterwards was easily persuaded to have supper on my dime, so their revenue offset having some strange dude hanging around their bar for seven hours.
What really impressed me was how Crew Chief made the long haul from Dayton exurbia and how The Don rounded up a navigation team and "crossed the viaduct." I'm glad the food, at least, was worth the trip.
My next non-holiday excursion back to da Nati may be as soon as February. But that shouldn't stop anybody from planning a meet-up before then.

Goyguy, it was GREAT meeting you! AND was well worth the trip; both company and food! Yeah, we could probably plan a meet-up before February, but I'm sure by February, it'll be time to do another one!

I am sorry I didn't make it. I took my grandkids school shopping, and completely forgot! I only remembered when I logged on to CD yesterday. I will try to make the next one. Glad to see everyone had a good time.

It sounds like you guys had a great time - sorry I missed it. I'd love to do a breakfast or lunch get together in the next month or so and a meet up in February as well. Goyguy, let us know what your dates are in February, so we can pencil it in.
I'd like to offer up a couple of meet up locations and hope that the rest of you will chime in as well. My first idea is Blue Ash Chili. They have awesome doubledeckers and, of course, Cincinnati Chili. My second idea is the Village Kitchen in downtown Mariemont. It reminds me of a 1950's type of restaurant.
Now let's hear your ideas.

It sounds like there's a resounding consensus that the Blue Gibbon would work another time. I'm all for it, lol...and after dark (which will be pretty early during February) it looks a LOT nicer on the outside. There're "icicle" lights around the awning. And you don't see the concrete-looking exterior wall, just the blue neon of the restaurant's name.
I've no lack of suggestions for another meet-up place:
Grand Finale, in Glendale (Sunday brunch in particular)
The Echo, in Hyde Park (breakfast or lunch)
Ron's Roost, in Green Township (?) - lunch or dinner
Chicken on the Run, in Deer Park (lunch or dinner)
Any First Watch (breakfast)
Quatman Cafe, in Norwood (lunch or dinner)
Quebec Gardens, in Westwood/Price Hill (lunch or dinner)
Greyhound Tavern, in Erlanger (lunch or dinner)
Any Frisch's for any meal
Maury's Tiny Cove, in Cheviot (?) - lunch or dinner
Zip's, in Mt Lookout (lunch or dinner)
LaRosa's flagship restaurant, in Westwood (lunch or dinner)
That's for starters. My bias is toward local, independently-owned, places that're on the reasonably-priced side. For broader appeal I tend toward "American" or "mainstream ethnic" (Italian- or Chinese-American) but personally can go for just about any cuisine invented. Last Saturday I stuffed myself silly n' giddy at Amma's Kitchen, f'rinstance, but their claim to fame is spicy vegetarian Indian food that might not be lots o' folks' cuppa tea.
I hugely appreciate all the warm feedback, and am glad to have started this meet-up ball rolling. On the off chance people aren't partied out, I'll be in Cincy on the Sunday after Christmas (12/27) so...

I love your choices! As for Sunday, 12/27/09, I'll be out of town again. I leave on Saturday, the 26th. It seems each time you're in town I'm out of town. I'll cross my fingers for February - do you have that date? Thanks!
