I did not even know about it as it was not on the Reading Road part of the site - I didn't know this part of the site was here until looking around tonight - maybe more buy in/attendance if on that part of the site? But I don't know the site rules and maybe this is where it has to be??

And you don't see the concrete-looking exterior wall, just the blue neon of the restaurant's name.
I've no lack of suggestions for another meet-up place:
Grand Finale, in Glendale (Sunday brunch in particular)
The Echo, in Hyde Park (breakfast or lunch)
Ron's Roost, in Green Township (?) - lunch or dinner
Chicken on the Run, in Deer Park (lunch or dinner)
Any First Watch (breakfast)
Quatman Cafe, in Norwood (lunch or dinner)
Quebec Gardens, in Westwood/Price Hill (lunch or dinner)
Greyhound Tavern, in Erlanger (lunch or dinner)
Any Frisch's for any meal
Maury's Tiny Cove, in Cheviot (?) - lunch or dinner
Zip's, in Mt Lookout (lunch or dinner)
LaRosa's flagship restaurant, in Westwood (lunch or dinner)
That's for starters. My bias is toward local, independently-owned, places that're on the reasonably-priced side. For broader appeal I tend toward "American" or "mainstream ethnic" (Italian- or Chinese-American) but personally can go for just about any cuisine invented. Last Saturday I stuffed myself silly n' giddy at Amma's Kitchen, f'rinstance, but their claim to fame is spicy vegetarian Indian food that might not be lots o' folks' cuppa tea.
I hugely appreciate all the warm feedback, and am glad to have started this meet-up ball rolling. On the off chance people aren't partied out, I'll be in Cincy on the Sunday after Christmas (12/27) so...

What about Sorrento's in Reading - one of the "old places" still in business on the northern end of the strip -their food could never compete with ours in quality but they still have the piano bar - and we could all sing old standards Or the Gibbon is great as well on 12/27!

Christmas gatherings are hard for a lot of people....we need to see when Goyguy will be back in town again.

Everybody reading this revived thread (why's it still here???) should stop by the West Chester IHOP this Saturday starting at 8 AM. The meet-up promises to be a fun one, that should go without saying.
CC and I are looking to bring the party closer to where some of the attendees are, so
Saturday's will be more in his territory. Tentatively we're going to hold another on Sunday, April 18th, if not before then. (That'll be the soonest non-holiday time Yours Truly will be back in town, not that that should matter.) Plans call for gracing a "west side" venue with our presence at that time. Then when/if I return to Cinti this summer it'll be NKY's turn.
Sorrento's does deserve consideration for some future date.
