And don't forget the La Rosa's pizza or the ribs from Montgomery Inn! Yum!
There used to be a Zino's in Hyde Park...I don't even know if it's still there or not, but I remember their eggplant parmigiana was to die for!

No more Zino's in Cincy. If you are in the mood for a Zinover, though, Mac's Pizza Pub in Clifton has a "Macover" that is similar. Mac's Pizza Pub
And for good eggplant parmigiana, try Campanello's. Campanello's Italian Restaurant

I agree about the lack of good German food in Cincy. I like Mecklenburg's but think it is way overpriced. Mecklenburg Gardens: A Cincinnati Tradition Since 1865, German Food, Beer, and Entertainment in Cincinnati, Ohio
Lenhardt's (now Christy's/Lenhardt's) has schnitzel night the first weekend of every month, and it is really good. This used to be a German/Hungarian restaurant, but when the owner's retired, and their daughter, Christy, took over, she made it more of a "college bar/restaurant", but her parents come in once a month to keep up the German tradition. It's not in Cincinnati proper, but I always recommend visitors check out the Haufbrauhaus in Newport.

If you're around this weekend check out the Taste of Blue Ash. It's a great sampling of local foods and the entertainment is top notch. Last night we saw Three Dog Night, tonight and tomorrow night more great bands. See link:

I think I counted 3 restaurants that are in Blue Ash, at the Taste of Blue Ash ... am I mistaken here? Please tell me I am.

Gotta admit I've been smugly snickering at the thought of a suburb trying to do a "Taste Of" event...hahahaha...take out the national-chain restaurants and 'tain't too much left! And - not hatin' just statin' - why would anybody point a visitor to an Applebee's??? That's like saying a good local hardware store is Home Depot.

^ I agree and regarding my statement ... I would've assumed it was so far fetched that the sarcasm was apparent.
