Hello! I'm Katie and I've been doing hair for four years. I have lived in Southern California my whole life but always have had an itch to move out of this state. I don't know where I would start or how to began a search but I thought about asking people where they live/work and what they love about it! I also want to know the pro's and con's to it as well. My boyfriend is a BMX rider and the company he rides for is based out of the city so it would be somewhat of an easy transition. I'm leaning towards east coast but I'm open to hear everything. I have so many questions I don't even know where to begin. I obviously want to work in a great, amazing salon with a talented staff. Somewhere I can further my education and most importantly, work with kind, nice and non-gossip people. I'd like to live near a fun, safe and exciting city (I can't stand LA or OC, San Diego is nice but is an hour away). I'd love to hear all of your thoughts, thanks in advanced!

Hello Katie,
I lived in a suburb of LA my entire life before relocating to cincinnati for work about nine months ago. So far cincinnati has definitely exceeded my expectations. There are a lot of different neighborhoods, each with their own unique personality, so it's not hard to find something that fits what you're looking for. This site is a great resource, look around a bit and you can learn a lot about the city.

That's definitely something positive to hear! I'd love to get some more information on 20-something areas to hang out at, culture and all that good stuff. I'll search around, thank you!
