I think some of that good ol' C-R sarcasm is at work, judging from the pics I saw!
But downtown during the day on a Saturday is definitely not happenin'. When I was there in mid-August you could've fired a cannon down any of the streets and not hit anybody.

Even Sunday night with sold out Aronoff, everything is dead.

Hell, Nada, Ruby's and Bootsies are closed on Sundays. Can only eat at Nicholsons, Taverna, Cadallac Ranch (blech!!!) or Benehana (double blech!!!!!!!!!!!

It was awful and service was worse.....Both times we went (I don't know why we gave it a 2nd chance) BLECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
