Its not, if you are on this forum long enough you will see a pattern of regular posters and then what I call "one hit wonders" who log on for the first time to either make a really rude and off base comment OR bring a 2 year old thread back to life-
I love this City, and I dont when people bring it down because they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. I still firmly believe there are FAR MORE good people in this City than bad, no matter what the "one hit wonders" want you to think.

Panic not. It's not that bad. It's not even half that bad.
A caveat when reading posts like this is to read carefully for absolutes and exaggerations -- stuff like "rainy skies almost every day" that can't possibly be true in a temperate climate like Ohio's, or "close minded people" which is in no way exclusive to Ohio.
It's easier to dismiss some posts as junk when you know what to look for.

Maybe I am not awake enough yet to make good judgements, but so help me, the OP sounds like the same person that is over in the Kentucky forum bashing London, Ky. His main complaint seems to be the lack of places to go fishing, which makes about as much sense as what he has posted here in this forum.
Here's a novel idea. Let's get in touch with some people that posted in that thread about London and between them and us, we can take up a love offering and ship both of them far, far away.

My family moved here from Salt Lake City almost 3 years ago, and I must say that I couldnt agree more with you. When we first moved here (for work) we thought we had escaped the singular mind of the mormons and Utah, I couldnt have been more wrong.
And beware, speaking your opinion... backlash from the natives can be brutal... just go along until you can get out!~

Maybe because the natives are mostly happy here & if we weren't we have the sense to move. It not being brutal, it called being honest.

I have read and reread Hartwell Girls post and for the life of me, I can't understand how she reinforced any negative comments.
What she said makes perfect sense to me. You don't like where you're living? Find another place to live. That is what I would do.

What does any of this have to do with Tri-County ???? And the OP acts suprised that the mid-west is behind the rest of the country, thats noting new. It's not THAT bad though. East Coast > West Coast > South/Midwest. (I only put the South above the midwest because of the culture there i.e. Miami, San Antonio, New Orleans. All we have here is Chicago)
