Default East Side/West Side of Colerain Twp....

It's like night and day!!!! WOW....what has happened to the east side? When I was growing up over there Pleasant Run used to be the nice, uppity part of the East Side of Colerain, now much of that area has become run down.Hell, even the majority of Northbrook used to be middle class, hard working families and now just about all of NB has become a dump.Infested with gangs and drug dealers on every corner.

Basically from PR, to Northbrook, and all the way down to Groesbeck almost the entire east side has become a dump....

As far as the West Side, Peach Grove, Taylor's Creek, parts of White Oak etc. are still all in good shape.Property values aren't declining and just about every part over there is a good place to live.

Thoughts?

Default Colerain TWP - Northwest, Great area and great buys

I have a house for sale in West Colerain TWP. Austin Ridge Dr off Althaus and Harrison Ave (Taylor Creek, Peach Grove area). People overlook this part of town, but it should be something work looking at. It's still a great area, with lots of rural feel, not built up like other areas. And, it's only 15 minutes from downtown on I-74/I-75. A heck of a lot closer than anywhere on the East Side trying to get downtown. You are also 15 minutes away from Miami Whitewater Park, which has a great bicycle trail and lake. So if you are new to the area, please take a look at this part of town.

Northbrook and Pleasant Run obviously have become more working class and less middle class over the years, but they haven't taken the hardest hit of the northern suburbs. North College Hill, Mt. Healthy, Seven Hills, and Forest Park all border this area and are in much worse shape. However, I suppose the influence of these areas makes half of Northwest HS want to be the next star of 8 mile.
