Southern California(San Diego and Los Angles) or Central Florida(Orlando and Tampa), which has better theme parks?

Also, what other cities/regions are good for theme parks/amusement parks/water parks etc.?

I forgot to ad a few. I dont know which is better, being I have never been to any theme parks in California, but I know Central Florida has more than theme parks to offer to visitors.

Uh I'd say Central Florida wins this hands down. The only other places that I think can even try to compete would be Las Vegas or the Ohio/Pennsylvania combo (Kings Island, Cedar Point, Hershey Park)

Cypress Gardens is Closed, Legoland is going up where it use to be.
Water Mania is another water park in Orlando side.
I'd put Orlando Science Center for sure as another point of interest. Maybe Tampa Aquarium as well though it is less interactive.

Damn, is it still standing? I swear I passed it a few weeks ago on 192. Didn't even realize it was closed. I guess it makes sense I hadn't been to it in probably 15 years at least.

Well being I'm only (19) we used to go every year for summer camp and they closed it when I was 14.

Cypress Garden did close. I knew I was like Wait Legoland and Cypress Gardens no, I meant to say Legoland is replacing Cypress gardens. Orlando Science center is a place of interest as well.

Tampa has places of interest too but I did not want to take all of them up!
