I suppose this one could go either way depending on how you look at everything....they're such different places.
I know a few things about the Great Lakes. There are 37 million people in the immediate area surrounding the Great Lakes. There is 10,900 miles of coastline, including that of Michigan - which has more coastline than any of the lower 48 states.
View from my House. I guess the Great Lakes don't have a shoreline, coastline or beaches huh..
Go tell Michigan that. Some of the best beaches in the US and they don't taste like salt
