I agree with this statement.... Hurricane season is suppose to be bad.. Let's how this plays out for both cities.. N.O really doesn't need another disaster.... But I think the person who made that statement is messing around on this site. Creating all kinds crazy threads..

This is kinda racist and untrue. There are a lot of Black people in FL. Racist, but what would you expect from a Floridian LOL

I prefer New Orleans. More interesting food, music and culture. It's more my type of thing.

Ive never been to New Orleans but Im fairly confident I'd prefer Miami. I love hispanic culture, the Miami Heat, and know lots of people there (I went to college there). I wouldn't pass up a chance to visit New Orleans and think I could live there too if given a job offer but if I had the same salary offer (comparative salary to cost of living) in both New Orleans and Miami I would take Miami.

Oil spill, not people.

Miami has much more to offer overall. NOLA is on one of my top places to visit in the US as I have not been there yet. But overall Miami just has so much more.

Thats opinion and the opposite can easlily be said. Some people might think the culture, history, urban layout, certain amenities, and such in New Orleans offers much more and cant be replicated in cities like Miami in thier eyes.
