Which city has the best "pedestrian food"? Like the philly steak from philly, buffalo wings from buffalo. crabs cakes from baltimore, deep dish pizza from chicago. U get the picture.

Probably New York. It all depends on what you like.
Anything has to be better than Lucky Dogs, Meat Pies, and taco trucks.

empanda de pollo y yuca frita con guarapo fio para beber en Miami. Muy bueno.

Breaded chicken empanada and fried yucca with a cold sugar cane drink in Miami. Very good.

(My Spanish in fact is limited to order food and adding words like "with" and "drink" required me use a translator)

Un empanda de pollo por favore! Gracias! Si gringo!

You need to add Beef on Weck for Buffalo. Also, pierogi.

I've been here 40 years and the food still amazes me. While everyone can learn to make good wings ( if you follow the original recipe) there is something about the perfect kimmelweck roll with beef piled high and fresh horseradish on it and gravy on the side that can't be topped. Or, pierogi if you go to one of the places you can buy homemade... I just can't get the dough and fillings so perfect.

Buffalo
