I was born there, too! At Valley, not at the train station.
And then I returned to Valley 33 years later to give birth, just like a salmon.
I did catch the train from Ridgewood for about 20 years, until last year when I moved to Monmouth County.
It's the only train station that's an example of Mission Revival style architecture in the east. Built in 1916. I remember that from the plaque on the building. Thanks for the pic!
The two stations I use are very nice, Park Ridge and Montvale (respectively). None of the pictures do either one justice, I'll try to snap a couple of nicer photos and put them up.
Jamaica Station is located in Downtown Jamaica, Queens along Sutphin Boulevard & Archer Avenue, it serves 10 Commuter Rail Lines (Long Island Railroad), Airtrain JFK, 3 Subway Lines, & 18 Bus Routes.
This isn't my favorite station but it's the closest major station. I like that it's one of the more modern stations, they really fixed it up A LOT. Now if they fixed up the subway portion...

Baltimore's nicest rail station would be Penn station

I am always amused by the number of major stations named Pennsylvania (Penn) Station along the NE corrider. (NY, Newark, Baltimore) and the one in PA is called 30th Street. I know the reason but still find it to be peculiar
I love:
30th Street Philadelphia
Grand Central Terminal
Hoboken Terminal
Boston South
Washington Union Station
Among the rest, some are nicer than others, but most are pretty unremarkable.
