Not in Oakland.
There is nothing worse than people pontificating on a topic they know nothing about.

They are both crime infested ghetto cesspools with declining populations.

And I'm sure you've never been to either of them.

As you can see, I had to bite my tongue there one time.

Anyway,
Anyone with real experience with either Oakland or Baltimore wouldnt make such statements but we live in a world where people make judgements based on stereotypes.

Actually, I have been to Oakland. I've been to Baltimore too. High Crime = Ghetto. Sorry. Baltimore is also high crime. They both have declining populations. I'm sure Oakland and Baltimore have their nice parts, but so does Detroit. I wouldn't describe Detroit as a pleasant city, would you? LOL. Oakland and Baltimore in general are scary ghetto places.

My observations were pretty accurate.

No your observations are based probably on a ride on a BART train and the fact that you to suppose that Oakland has its nice parts because you dont really know is proof positive that you dont really have a clue.

And so therefore your 'observations' are anything but 'accurate' when describing the entire city of Oakland.

Its no different than if I flew into LA and drove straight along Century Bl and continued past the 405 on Century Bl to the Forum and all that ghettoness and then left LA thinking that's all there is to LA.
