Oaktown is boring and not much going on. Who cares about the renovated Fox theater? Downtown is still dead with just a smathering of restaurants near the Fox and on one street that I forget the name of the street. It's not too far from City Center complex. Walk on Broadway, it's pretty much dead on weekends. I only like the Rockridge district.
Lovely pics...except for gulp, snow. I couldnt deal with that on a normal basis in the winter. We just had a lot of hype about the possibility of snow falling here for for first time since 1976. LOL
Other than that, Im in love with those rowhouses! We dont have that.
Cleveland Heights is one of my favorite Oakland neighborhoods-not just because that's where my high school is located(LOL), but also because its so diverse in many ways-and its location is darn near perfect.
