This is how I feel. Snarky and/or uninformed attempts to marginalize what Atlanta excels at will usually get a repsonse from me. There was quite a bit of it going on earlier today, and it deserved to be challenged.

We should all be experts on Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston by now.

Why would I single you out?
Me, you, chidalatl, jluke, grindin, spade, lovindecatur, ladarron, deaconj, akhenaton etc. are always more or less present in these threads. Any combination of us can take a thread down hill and it wouldn't be complete without those 4 or 5 posters from Miami who now live in ATL, though oblivious to each others existence, always checking in to antagonize and get some mess started.

We might as well be one big happy family. We already act like it.

Good post LAnative

One caveat, there are way way way way more Koreans than that in Atlanta. The Korean-American Association of metro Atlanta thinks there are at least 83,000 here. If i were to venture a guess, I would say the real number is well over 100,000 or more. It's nuts how many koreans there are here now. It's like little Seoul on the northeast side.

According to ACS, thats what there is, but I think its only counting those born there, not those born in the US.

That's where the discrepancy is probably coming from. It feels like there are as many native South Koreans relocating here as there are Korean Americans. When the actual census comes out next year the picture will be a lot clearer.

Yeah, the Korean community here is quite large too. It will be interesting to see what the total numbers are come next year.

Speaking of Koreans, I'm going to Koreatown for some BBQ tomorrow! So good!
