Finally someone who isn't mentally retarded. Atlanta 30 years ago was just like any small hick town in America; Detroit 60 years ago was the mark of the Industrial Revolution and one of the richest cities on earth.
30 years ago Atlanta was 2,233,324, bigger than todays Charlotte, Austin, Nashville and Memphis and etc. So much for Atlanta being a small hicktown 30 years. ) Anways.
Big Bethel founded in 1847 before Atlanta was even call Atlanta but Marthasville, it's the oldest predominately black congregation in metro Atlanta,
