Depending on how you measure them, both of these malls can claim to be the largest in the United States -- the Mall of America in total square feet, and King of Prussia Mall in total retail square feet. The Mall of America is more family- and tourist-friendly while King of Prussia Mall is more upscale and luxurious. Based on these two criteria, which mall experience would you prefer?

Doesn't Mall of America have a roller coaster inside? At least that makes going to the mall entertaining.

Phase Two when completed for Mall of America will make it the largest mall in the world again, and that too by a widely large margin.

But I haven't been to either, so I cannot say. Toss up for me until I visit them.

That mall will become the largest mall in the world when completed, but when Phase Two of Mall of America is completed it will take back that title and become the largest mall in the world with no close competition.
