Looks like the majority of people leaving Ohio have lower incomes while ones moving in have higher.. lol. Don't know how this stuff is compiled.

I noticed that one issue is that the last few years have had upheavals in many areas so this might not be a good indicator of long-term trends. I am guessing 2011 or 2012 might give us an idicatior of the years ahead here.

As to income differences of people moving in or out. I am guessing it is based on what groups are responsible. Lower ones are either younger people in or just out of college and retirees while higher numbers are people in prime earning years (40's and 50's)

I expected to see a net inflow from California and Texas, but I was surprised by the inflow from the D.C. and New York areas into NOLA.
